Those are the words that Kirk Charles, my favorite person, said to me (jokingly, of course) when I called his all-in pocket Kings with my pocket 6s, miraculously flopping a full house-- Queen, Queen, 6. Oops. Sorry Kirk. I swear I didn't mean to! :(
So, it's past midnight, I have to work at 9am, but let me just say that I achieved all three of my goals this week. I managed to qualify for the championship, I did some nice work at the Bounty Tournament (placing 3rd, and taking out my main competition for the points lead), and I WON THE WEEK!!!!
Basically, this means that the season is over and I'm just now showing up. But it's cool, because I'm the leader in points for the week!
I set my goals, and I achieved them. I'm still sort of amazed. When I was a kid, and even as an "adult", when I hear people say "You can do it! You can do anything you set your mind to!" I usually think that they're naive and ridiculous. But, in this case, I can't believe that I agree. I can do anything!
It's weird to feel this happy and confident. And normal.
I'll have all the recaps done tomorrow, and I'll post a full entry about the night tomorrow. After I've had sleep and tons of caffeine. :)
